Salvatore Ferragamo - A must see is the Ferragamo
flagship boutique in Palazzo Spini Feroni, which, with its lofty
frescoed ceilings, is nothing if not grand. The museum contains
a selection of over 10,000 different types of shoes, accessories,
photographs and related memorabilia. Salvatore Ferragamo who lived
from 1924 to 1960 was the adopted son of Florence (he was born
just outside Naples) and embodied the very essence of Tuscan spirit
and adventure. His pioneering designer ways are carried on by
his sons who now run the family business from their Florence stronghold
in Palazzo Spini Feroni. The Hotel Raffaello Florence features
products from the Ferragamo range in its boutique shop inside
the hotel.
