Piazza della Signoria in Florence is the city's main
square. It is also the home of the city council and all decisions
regarding local government are taken here. The square boasts artists,
a life size 16th century replica of Michelangelo's David and a few
fountains. Don't eat in the Pizzerias here as they are overpriced
and only visited by tourists - try Piazza Repubblica instead.
